Crescent locking pliers are made to an exacting standards that result in improved durability and long-term performance. They meet stringent ASME standards B107.24 and B107.36, as applicable, including proven strength and maximum jaw opening capacity. All Crescent locking pliers have a cushion grip trigger for easier grip release and a hex key recess in the tightening screw for when additional leverage is needed. The clamps head and body have the narrow profile necessary for work in tight or confined spaces.
